Hello, Nuno here.
Inspired by the visual illusion of chromostereopsis, which creates depth through color contrast, we developed a quick Unity scene to define the mood and style for our Dungeon Crawler. This is what we came up with and we liked it!
For game mechanics, the first thing that popped in my mind was the Judgement Ring in Shadow Hearts (any fans here?) - a timed wheel for selecting actions, as you can see here:
With these 2 ingredientes in place, we started cooking ideas.
